Welcome to
Charleston Saltwater Realty! I'm
Gene Kizer,
Broker-in-Charge.
I was with Carolina One
for three-and-a-half years before founding
Charleston Saltwater Realty. Now, when you work with me, you are working
with the head man and I'm at your service!
I am always available and
intensely focused on your real estate goals. You can be sure of my
undivided attention and a good one-on-one relationship.
For example, I constructed
a website for one of my listings, a pristine deep saltwater island in the
Stono
River near Folly Beach. I shot and
produced a 35 minute walking tour video of the island and posted it
on the website. Please visit
www.GoatIsland.info and
www.GoatIslandInTheStonoRiver.info.
I would do no less for you.
I list and show property seven
days a week. Just let me know what is convenient.
I keep my overhead low so I can
pass those savings on to you but
my reach across the Internet is
massive. ALL of my listings are automatically placed on over 40 major national real estate websites including
Realtor.com,
Trulia.com,
Yahoo Real Estate,
AOL Real Estate,
Google,
Zillow.com,
FrontDoor,
Cyberhomes,
Oodle,
RealtyTrac,
LakeHomesUSA,
OceanHomesUSA,
Overstock.com,
eRealInvestor.com and
dozens of others. Click "Sellers" or
"For Sale
by Owner (FSBO) Sellers" above for the complete list.
I am not kidding about MAJOR exposure for your house due to the
above national real estate websites.
Just do a Google search of your house's street address
10 days after
listing with me - after all the national sites have gotten their
feeds - and you will find your house all over the real estate
Internet, exposed to millions of
buyers.
For buyers looking for homes, condos, land or commercial property,
my services to you are FREE because sellers pay all
commissions, and I can do some FABULOUS things for you immediately.
I can send you MLS
property reports automatically each morning by
e-mail that include new or price-reduced listings based on any search
criteria you want such as particular subdivisions, zip codes, towns,
deep water, acreage,
price ranges, types of property, etc., etc.
When MLS reports are
e-mailed, they include a LOT of pictures, documents, maps, links and video, all in full color. They
are nice, and easy to scroll through. You can look at scores of
them quickly.
Click on the main picture in
any report, and additional pictures/video pop up with enlargements.
Click on the address and you're
taken to a Google Map with location pinpointed, satellite
capability, etc., etc. With the satellite capability, you can see
how close you are to neighbors or other areas of interest.
Here's a good example of search
criteria. If you are
interested in a 2,000 SF house on James Island priced between
$300,000 and $400,000, I can have all properties meeting that
description sent to you immediately, then new ones, the moment they
are listed, sent automatically each morning.
Or I can have all new
listings South of Broad, in Lawton Bluff, on Sullivan's Island, on
Wadmalaw Island, or in 29464 sent daily.
If you are looking for
fixer-upper property, or
short sales or
foreclosures or
estate sales,
I can send you MLS reports on any or all of them, and I can set you up
to receive all the NEW listings and price reductions,
automatically.
Just call or send an e-mail to
Gene@CharlestonSaltwaterRealty.com
and tell me what you want and I will send you MLS reports
immediately and set you up to receive the daily auto-e-mail reports
which will commence the next morning.
You can learn about property
anywhere in Charleston, not only your neighborhood. If there is an
area you have always been curious about, let me know! I'll send you
a ton of information on it immediately and you will LOVE going
through it.
Studying MLS property reports
on comparable properties that have sold recently
is the usual method for determining the market
value
of residential properties. Please
Click
Here or the
Determining Market Value link
above for more information, especially on my strategy for buyers. I
do a LOT of research on target properties so we can get the house
you want at the
lowest possible price.
And you are NOT being put on
any kind of e-mail list. You will be on my private account in the
Charleston Trident Association of Realtors MLS and you can stop it
with the click of a mouse.
Please call or send me an e-mail anytime and let me know what type of property you are
interested in, or anything else that I can do for you:

THANK YOU for visiting.
I hope we can do business soon!

"I graduated
magna cum laude
from the
College of Charleston
in 2000 at middle age with
History Departmental Honors and the Outstanding Student Award for the
History Department. I love Charleston history and mostly studied it and
the causes of the War Between the States. My bachelor's essay for History
Departmental Honors was entitled 'Economic Arguments and Justifications for
Southern Secession, 1850s to 1861,' and it's catalogued in the College of
Charleston Addlestone Library, Special Collections.
Click Here to check it out.
It was directed by
Dr.
Clark G. Reynolds and I made an A++ (two plusses) on it.
"I started at
Carolina One in 2005
and worked there until 2009 when I founded Charleston Saltwater
Realty. We have a stable real estate market here in Charleston that is not subject to
the wild fluctuations we've seen in other markets, and it's
definitely a
BUYER'S MARKET!
"As a writer,
I am PROUD of all the other writers and artists in Charleston! Many people
don't know but William Gilmore Simms, who lived in the Lowcountry and is
buried in
Magnolia Cemetery, was called the best American writer of the
19th century by
Edgar Allan Poe. Among Simms's 82 book-length works, he
wrote a series of Revolutionary War novels set mostly around Charleston,
and they are historically accurate and make the Revolution JUMP off the
pages as if you are there in 1776!
"Of course,
Southerners in the War Between the States were the children and
grandchildren of the Southerners who played a HUGE role in winning the
American Revolution since the brilliant American victory in the
Battle of
Cowpens, South Carolina in 1781 is widely considered the turning point of
the Revolutionary War.
"As a
historian, I am also PROUD that Charleston, in the 1920s, was the
first city in America to aggressively promote
historic preservation, and we have been a
preservation leader ever since. Right now, the College of Charleston
offers
the only undergraduate degree program in the country in historic
preservation; and in the Graduate School of the
College of Charleston, one can earn a
Master of Science in Historic Preservation,
which is part of a joint program with Clemson University. The program is based here in Charleston."
